Luna Sea: A Profile
Luna Sea was one of the biggest visual kei bands ever. The band was formed under the name of Lunacy in 1989 by Ryuichi (Ryuichi Kawamura), Sugizo (Yasuhiro Sugihara), Inoran (Shinobu Inoue), J (Jun Onose) and Shinya (Shinya Yamada). The band broke up in 2000. Throughout their career, Luna Sea became one of the most popular VK bands in Japan, China, and Taiwan and also gained many Western fans.
